The opening experience
A magnetic gift box keeps the lid attached and opens like a presentation case. A lid-and-base box separates into two pieces, allowing the contents to be revealed as the lid is lifted. Consider whether the packaging will be opened on a counter, presented as a gift or stored for repeated use.
Assembly and storage
Some magnetic structures are collapsible and can be supplied flat. Other rigid constructions are supplied assembled. For two-piece boxes, confirm the packing arrangement for lids and bases. Ask for the finished and packed dimensions when comparing options, rather than assuming one structure always uses less storage space.
Interior fit and accessories
Both structures can be planned around an insert or divider. Start with product dimensions and weight, then define the layout and clearance needed to remove the contents. A ribbon may be decorative, part of the closure or an insert pull; specify its role before selecting the finish.
The outside finish
Choose paper, printed artwork and logo placement as a complete composition. A simple lid can suit a prominent logo, while the inside of a hinged lid offers a second printed surface. Review paper, foil and color choices in the sample rather than judging only from a screen.
