Build the carton from the product outward

Share the product dimensions, filled weight, closing method and shelf orientation before artwork begins. Board caliper, grain direction, crease layout and glue area influence whether a flat carton forms cleanly and remains square after packing.

Dieline, sample and production sequence

Folding-carton orders start at 200 pieces. Once the structure and print file are confirmed, sampling usually takes 2–3 days and production about 7–15 days after approval. Food-contact or regulated uses require material and documentation review before the specification is accepted.

Submit the product and print requirements, or arrange an appointment in Wenzhou. The report library describes the tested white paperboard samples and does not automatically cover every finished carton.

Control panels, locks and printed information

Folding cartons are efficient to store flat, but the dieline must support fast assembly and reliable closing. Identify which panel faces the shelf, where barcodes and required information belong, and how the customer opens the carton. Keep critical type away from folds, glue zones and locking tabs. Pack representative products during sampling to confirm fit, panel bowing and the practical assembly sequence. Ask the packing team to assemble several samples and note any tabs that catch, panels that reverse or instructions that become hidden. Confirm grain direction and surface treatment for the chosen board because they can affect folds, print appearance and the way the carton holds its shape. Retain the approved flat and assembled samples for the incoming inspection.
