Begin with the product

Packaging decisions should follow what is inside.

Confectionery packaging depends on portion count, cavity size, food-contact layers, handling temperature and the opening sequence. The decorative box and any material that directly contacts food must be defined separately and reviewed for the destination market.

PACKAVELLE develops made-to-order packaging from a written specification and approved sample. Dimensions, materials, print, inserts, packing method and delivery destination are confirmed for each project rather than assumed from an image.

Before sampling

Resolve the specification in the right order.

  1. Confirm whether products are individually wrapped or need cups, liners or another direct-contact component.
  2. Provide piece dimensions, weight, count and the intended cavity arrangement.
  3. Identify the destination market and any food-contact documentation required for the complete construction.

Surface and brand expression

Seasonal colors, foil accents, ribbon pulls and numbered drawers can support gifting. Finishes should be positioned away from unprotected food, and every material claim must match the actual component and report scope.

Fit, handling and delivery risk

Chocolate can mark surfaces, soften with heat or move between cavities if tolerances are too loose. A sample should be reviewed with the real wrapped product. Temperature control and shelf-life decisions remain part of the food producer’s distribution plan.

Project questions

Answers for chocolate & confectionery buyers

Read the complete buyer FAQ
Does a paperboard test report cover the complete food package?

No. A report applies to the submitted sample and tests stated in that document. Direct-contact liners, cups, inks, coatings and adhesives may require separate review. Tell us the product, contact condition and destination market so documentation can be discussed accurately.

Can the number and size of chocolate cavities be customized?

Yes. PACK30 is a nine-cavity concept, but the count, cavity dimensions and arrangement can be changed. Provide the dimensions of each wrapped piece and the desired presentation order before insert sampling.
